The Office of Accounts and Reports is responsible for the coordination and preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) of the State of Kansas (formerly referred to as the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report).
Each ACFR is presented in the following three sections:
Introductory Section – includes the transmittal letter, the State of Kansas organization chart, and a listing of selected officials.
Financial Section - includes the independent auditors’ report, management’s discussion and analysis, the basic financial statements and notes, the required supplementary information and the other supplementary information.
Statistical Section - includes unaudited tables and financial trend information.
Questions concerning the ACFR should be directed to the Financial Integrity Team with the Office of Accounts and Reports.
